WHAT WE DO
Our grand mission as youth coalition movement of Africa is to close leadership divide by the supporting young people and connecting them with each other towards positive economic change. (a) We begin with young people; The enormous resources of the youth who gave the power of place and association with each other and who wants to give and get information, youths must be connected , informed, collaborative so as to assume leading roles in our society. (b) We focus on place; Based on a bottom up model of advisory membership and commitment, we have established a knowledge and information market place in order to enlighten the staggering number of youth who are doing a man s job but getting a woman s pay, these online and offline portals are meeting places for receiving and exchanging information toward sustainable community development. (c) We create programs; We create and support social and community based development projects geared toward enhancing youth knowledge as they come to realize their place and potential through cultural exchange programs and youth leadership programs.
Youths are the largest group of our world population today and the key to our future. But their growth and development is often uneven, protracted or unsupported. Youths need our assistance; otherwise, we are left with poverty, lack of development and a gaping digital, educational and economic divide.
And if the key to economic development is the intellectual growth of our children, then youths should have access to resources and access to the internet, as well as each other. Every major global statistics / study consider youth development an urgent, collective necessity- Youths need to connect to, give and receive information quickly from reliable sources and each other, at a glance. Even more of the resources of the community It is natural wisdom, his cultural it is connection to the land and to history must be treasured, acknowledged and celebrated.
